It is my belief that a client or a family comes to counseling to have someone listen to their difficulties, help them develop a plan that will resolve their issues. A plan has to be developed that fits their personality and life style, we work together to develop a plan that they feel will work for them. If they try it and it doesn’t work effectively, we discuss what did not work, then we change the plan. We will work the plan until we find what works for them.

The second part of the plan is to help the client understand how the plan was developed. If a problem should arise in the future, they should know how to develop a plan on their own. They can use the skills they have already learned to resolved their difficulties on their own.

I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge Ma.
